This is how I create my starter locks. Using the instant lock-wrapping technique.

1. First, comb coil the hair only once.
2. Then, divide the hair into two sections.
3. Take the section of hair to your right, and you're going to instant lock wrap all the way down to the end of the lock.

It should look like a goddess lock guaranteed to stay. Whenever it never unravels, it reduces all freezies. As you can see, it's a terrible view, but you guys get the point.
